I had bought these unfinished frames (in a pack of 5) from Ikea a while ago and I wanted to spruce them up. First I started by painting them black with a simple craft paint. I didn't have any sort of varnish/sealer so I had to leave them matte (which I kinda like). I had bought a big bag of random buttons for something like $2.99 and picked out a bunch of black ones of various sizes. I just accented the corners using a glue gun making sure to use the biggest ones in the corners and working my way out with the smaller buttons, and trying to not put two of the same button next to each other. I printed some black and white photos from my printer and voila! A cute way to display some favorite photos. Hope you all like!

Those are really cute!!! They really do look like you bought them like that! I have those same frames and I painted mine black too!!! (except I painted around the sides a different color...they just seemed like they should be black, eh?)
