I know this is pretty simple for those of you who have been beading for a while...but I have always wanted a lariat and now I have one...lol.........

This is really pretty.  I love the look of shorter lariats with decorative ends.  You've got a good eye for matching colors and styles.  Smiley

Very pretty in an understated way. Is that a lark's head knot forming the loop on the left? The silver caps on the end beads really set them off.

Yes it is a lark's head knot. I didn't want to do anything permanent there because I might want to wear it longer by just loosely tying it.  Thanks....I was definitely trying for a subtle look.  I found all of this in a bag of "stuff" I bought from a friend.  I had never twisted a headpin either...I think that will get better with practice!

that is very cute!
i did not know it was called a lariat... i just called them "wrap around"  Tongue
i like simple jewelry, and i like pink, so this is exactly my style!
