I am soooo excited about this.  I was on the Knitpicks page and decided to click on the "Not Your Standard Sweatshirt" page, and it's made with a new yarn!  So I decided to see what else they could have added.

There are three new lines!  In yummy cotton (which I am ecstatic about... there's only so much wool Southern Californians can knit with).

There is Shine Worsted http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420140/yarn_display.aspx

Main Line http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420141/yarn_display.aspx

and Spinnaker http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420142/yarn_display.aspx

AND, there are new shades for Shine and Crayon.  Now, if only they would add a fingering-weight cotton yarn, I would be in heaven.

The cotton-merino yarn intrigues me.... I need to start finding good summer shirt patterns, order color cards, and see what's what.

You bet me to it. I just ordered some cheapy cotton from Joann.com because I didn't want to make an entire sweater on size 3 needles. If I was just a little more patient.

Now I am FORCED! (I know u don't buy that, but I'm sticking to my story) to but some of the new shine yarn.

oh boy, now it's going to be really hard to try to NOT buy anymore yarn... the colors for both the shine worsted and main line are GORGEOUS.

 Huh
should i cut up my credit cards to try to stop me from buying more yarn? hmm.... Shocked

I tried the credit card cutting thing before. All that does is make is make you sweat while you wait for the company to send you your new cad. Besides if Knitpicks doesn't need that 3 digit code you could always use your statement to get the card number.

You know, after the initial thrill of this, I'm finding that I'm not too ecstatic about them.

I mean, Main Line is $3.29 for an 82-yarn ball.  Cotton Fleece is a better deal than that.

And I can't imagine myself making anything using the colors of Shine Worsted.  Plus, I hope that the grass is the same shade as the sport-weight because I am really annoyed with how many lines come in a color called "Grass" when they're all totally different shades of green.  Can't they get a bit more creative in the naming?

I think they're using the same dye color, but because the different yarn fibers they take the color differently. That's why you get the differnt variation in color with different yarns.
