I got a note through the door telling me there was a parcel for me at the post office, and got all excited.  It wasn't it sadly. ):

That potions book is bloody brilliant!  I'm entirely green with jealousy right now!  Your hogwarts pin turned out quite nicely.  I'm feeling a bit anxious now that my stuff isn't as "cute" as it could be. 

Sad - I got all excited about your post...until I read the ending.  *sigh*  Why does overseas have to take so long?  Ofcourse, if the package had been under 4lbs, I could have afforded to send it the faster route.  Next time I'll know.

  I can finally post my photos - my internet was down for a couple days, not only could I not post my swap but I couldn't do anything internet related! I was losing my mind for a bit...  

Anyways, here are the wonderful items from the package goatgoddess sent me:


First, two lovely little magnets - I could not get the pictures on them to show up with my camera, but there's Hedwig and then Harry and Draco. They're so great because my desk has metal bars and I'm decorating my office area in Moon and Stars / Harry Potter.


This is a great lightbox with a picture of the Trio in some pretty "dark" surroundings. I need to dig out my xmas lights to put inside. I'm going to keep it on one of the shelves on my desk closest to the outlet. Very cool!!


I laughed when I opened this box up - because it was very hard to open due to the paint and the Mad Eye Moody Trunck I had made goatgoddess was doing the same thing. I was so worried she wouldn't be able to get the darn thing open.


Inside the box, which I thought was very cool. I love little embellishments like this.


Here is some lovely harry potter fabric - this is sooo perfect because I've been finding old harry potter tshirts (from when the movies first came out) at the thrift stores and now I can make a great blanket for my office. Also some stickers - yay stickers!! and a lovely little note from goatgoddess.

These might be my favorite!! They're tacks and since we're redecorating my room I can't hang my bulletin board yet. Well where I put it my cat seems to find it and either use the board as a scratching post or he pulls all the tacks out with his mouth and leaves them laying on the board. When I go to pick it up, every things falls to my feet!! I put these on the board to see if he could pull them out and he can't. I should have taken a photo of him trying though!! But I really don't want him chewing on them so I just put the board up on my highest desk shelf. Anyways, I love these tacks, they have so much personality.

so glad you liked your package - I know I thought about my box sticking after seeing the trunk stuck I was hoping it dry out enough by the time it got there - nope 
Sorry about that - I guess the paint swells the paper mache - sure do like that trunk and everything else though.

The only ones I can see that haven't received yet are:  me and Sad - but ours may take longer, it's been 2 weeks since I sent out and it's not there yet.

Not yet - redpopsicles let me know last week that she would be running late on this.  She pm'd me a couple of days ago to tell me she got her package and that she had a few more things to do, and mine will be out by tomorrow.  I can't wait!!!
