so today i bought 2.5 yards of this really great fabric...  it's cream with little light aqua polkadots and even tinier black polkadots.

when i found it i was like YES!!! this is the exact color scheme i've been wanting to make my room!

but now the question is what should i make with the fabric, like a few different things to tie the room all in together matchy-match like.

i was thinking curtains (i only have one window), a pillowcase...

any other ideas??

We're so trendy we can't stand ourselves.

While I am not much of a sewing kind of person - I dont know if these ideas will help.

As you dont have much material you wont get that many things made.
So here are my ideas.

Find matching one coloured material either in the cream or the aqua and make them the curtains and then use some of your polka dot material to make ties on the curtains or the fringe across the top of the window.

Get a lampshade and cover it with the material.

Make one or two square cushions to place on the bed or chair.

You could also cover a tin or wastepaper basket in the material.

Happy Crafting

I made curtains, a small pillowcase, and covered my switchplates with the material I got for my room. I can't remember how much was there...I think it was less than 2.5 yards though.
