Anyone want to join me in my adventure in the Junior Simplicity dept for 4560? I'm going to try starting it very soon. Already serged my material and it's ready to wash Smiley

I'm making two. The first one will be lime green for practice, and the other will be a vintage looking tropical print.

Well, I adjusted the pattern somewhat, but I know I'll have to make changes on the final product. I'm just basting it now to get the fit right, and the bodice barely has room for seam allowance, but I'm going to use eyelet tape and do a corset lacing on the back instead of hooks and eyes on my practice run.

I'm almost done with my draft. I got it to fit  Grin So excited! It's the first thing that was easy to sew and fits! I had to do a few slight adjustments, but I like it  Cool I'll have to take it apart some to use the peices for the other fabric im going to use for the final version. Here's my picture...Disregard my PJ's, and my goofy look. I took the picture in the middle of the night. Also, the dress is still not finished - I'm going to add eyelets to corset tie it or put in a zipper in the back. Haven't decided. the finished one will probably have a zipper unless problems arise.

This was easy peasy Smiley Not sure I like how it hangs, or how the fabric crinkles in the seam, but I'm hoping I can fix that with my iron and some wearing.

It's nice. I did the hem a little too wide, but it works.
