So... do you have a beaded pi necklace, like I saw in that one link?

Not yet, but I did want to knit a pi scarf, with each number from 1 to 9 being a different colour, and knitting the corresponding number of rows.  I'd have to find a snazzy way of doing the decimal place though...

I think the color calculator design would look really neat on a scarf.  Little squares of different colors--and the integer 3 could be represented by a full stripe in the corresponding color.  If I had the patience to knit, I might try it myself. 

That would be an awesome scarf. You could do like sparkly novelty yarn for the decimal.

Haha!  Here's what I imagine:  You measure the circumference of your biceps, and use the measurement to determine the diameter of your upper arm.  Am I too far off?

I love pi!  The pi scarf sounds fantabulous, and so much fun.  For the decimal, you could do a quick decrease and increase, so the scarf bowed in at that point, or you could do a few rows in just black and white and do an "illusion" decimal in there somewhere.  Or, you could do black and white with a little intarsia.  OOOOHHH!  OR, you could do a stripe of black or white and do a single bobble in the center! 

I am in love with Geoffrey.  He's the cutest damn thing I've seen in a long time!

Yes, I needle felted him out of Merino wool with some VERY sharp needles.
