Well I'm finally getting around to posting the beautiful tiny thing that animegirlie made for me!  I received yesterday, but I really had to go to the studio after dinner and get some work done...
So, here it is! An incredible embroidered wrist cuff!

And here is a detail of her amazingly detailed embroidery!<-- edit: can I emphasize the detail enough? Roll Eyes

I must say that I really really love the pattern!! What was it inspired by? And the colors are so perfect! It matches half my wardrobe, my car, and pretty much my entire bedroom!! Thank you so much!! This has been a wonderfull swap!!

So glad you liked it whew! Smiley
It's inspired by Japanese Family crests (hence the reason those little Japanese ladies were so interested - YKYACW). It's 3 side veiws of a cherry blossom grouped into circles. I was thinking of that nice antique china you see with the white back ground and really bright cobalt blue pictures that are very detailed.

You said blue was your favorite color - and I took a wild guess hoping that if you were anything like me about blue, most if not half of your stuff would match ^_~ .

 Thanks for the compliments ladies!

I just realized that I hadn't posted. I pm'd my partner to thank her but forgot to do pulically. I got a really amazing reversable box. Sort of like a chinese takeout box but fabric. Its amazingly cool and looks very hard to make. THank you so much Yirq. I can't take pics today because its been rainy and stormy for the last 3 weeks and the fabric is dark and not coming out. If you have some please post!!!

Here it is! Its a bit bigger than I usually work with. This box is about 4 inches by 3 inches and about an inch deep. I had to make it that big because I loved the kimono I found. And who knew you could find lampwork beads in the shape of a geisha's head? I sure didn't. (the quarter is just there to show the size)
