Oh, p.s., porfiry ... PLEASE don't tell me watching old episodes of 24 isn't "constructive", or I'll seriously have to rethink how I spend my time!

I know, it's so easy to get cracked out on that show!!  The best thing is to craft while you're watching like four episodes in a row!   Wink

I received from Krajackex!  She sent an AWESOME cd, and the cover art is beautiful.  Also, she sent a saxophone decal!  It's super cool because it looks like a tenor, which is what I used to play!!   Cheesy

The pictures:

and the cd cover w/the decal:

And the super-cool playlist:
Can't We Be Friends -- Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong
Chain of Fools -- Aretha Franklin
I Get Along Without You Very Well -- Linda Ronstadt
Straighten Up and Fly Right -- Linda Ronstadt
You're the Top -- Ella Fitzgerald
It's All Right With Me -- Ella
It's De-Lovely -- Ella
Take the A-Train -- Duke Ellington
Dewey -- The Yellowjackets
Freddie Freeloader -- Miles Davis
Soulful Strut -- The Astronauts
Cowbell Boogie -- Fred Jackson (ha!  I put this on her cd, too!!)
Bubble House -- Medeski, Martin & Wood
Jelly Belly -- Medeski, Martin & Wood
River Waltz -- The Yellowjackets
Azure Moon -- The Yellowjackets
Untitled -- Unknown (the tune is Stompin' At the Savoy and it sounds like Milt Jackson?)

The cd is GREAT!  Thanks Krajackex, and thanks Nushybum for organizing this awesome swap.   Wink

Hey, thanks a lot.  I hadn't a clue as to what it was called (or who it was by,) but I still wanted to include it.  I'm happy you liked the cd!

Got my CD from Fraught tonight!!!

Here's what she sent me--two CDs!

The CDs with a cool picture and a cloth cover!

The CDs...

The fabulous songs!

Semi-close-up of the CDs hand-drawn decoration (which the pictures don't show justice of...they're really very cool)

Okay, so thanks a lot to the partners I had who were fantastic, as well as Nushy for organizing.

Please can you check this list and tell me if anything is wrong. I need to know in order to update feedback.

Also, some of you aren't messaging me to let me know when you have recieved your CDs. PLEASE can you do this, as it's really difficult to keep up with the progress otherwise!!!

so i got nushy's cd today Smiley i can't wait to listen to it, but i had to take a picture first since i'm so behind on updating!

twowishes sent me two cd's which are featured in the middle; her cd's are so good my mom stole them!
nushy did a beautiful sketch of ella fitzgerald on the cover of my insert. i'm amazed at people who can sketch and draw. i'm a cheater! i traced the image of schroder onto both covers for nushy and twowishes (as seen on top) i wish i could draw on my own without having to cheat  Tongue
thanks again for organizing this great swap!!
