Yeah....I made it different though....I think in the movie it was a 2x2 rib with mohair or brushed wool....Mines Boucle and garter...because Im lazy

Really? My memory is fuzzy, but I remember thinking it was probably drop-stitch garter, or plain garter.

On the LJ Fandom knit community thats what they said it was...But plain garter is all I did...I like it either way

YAAAAAAY for Tumnus!  So glad to find more Tumnus fans Cheesy.  I'm a dyed-in-the-wool crocheter but I did take up knitting just so I could make a Tumnus scarf.  kozytartan, which community are you talking about?  Because there's a narnia_knits community (not a lot activity, sadly) where it was pretty much established that the scarf is a knit 1, slip 1 across and purl back pattern.  Unfortunately I'd already almost finished mine in stockinette *whine*  But I'm making one for a friend in the k1 sl1 pattern and it really looks right.  I'm using Lamb's Pride Worsted on 15's  and it's coming out quite well Smiley

It was fandom_knits...I think...something to that effect...but I was never one to pay attention to what other people thought...I like mine the way it is...and I hope Tumnus would feel the same

Oh I didn't mean to imply that I don't like yours as it is, I totally do like it!  I was just offering another angle.

I just did mine in stockinette. Just wanted something easy. If I did it again I would probably choose a 2x2 rib. The god news is I made it up to
8 and 3/4 feet last night. just a little more to do today.

I have a bunch of vintage linens for trade. Looking for neat halloween fabrics, day of the dead stuff, star wars stuff.
