After an extensive day of searching for pretty new fabrics to play with, I found some and they arrived a few days ago.

I just love love love small scale cute prints and lookie lookie how adorable they are!

This paperdoll print is an import from Germany and I turned it into this cute cut-out handle purse.

embellished with a kanzashi flower, of course  Wink

These pretty pink prints are also from Germany. There's a little girl dancing in the stars ( I love it!) and a cute print of neat little trees and birds. I mixed them with a vintage repro cotton flower print.

And.. to feed my need for Owlies, I couldn't pass up this adorable owlie print that I've been eyeing for months. I immediately turned it into a nice hobo bag and matching pouch.

and just for fun.. some cute fabric covered button sets.  Smiley

*whew* long post!

any comments appreciated.  Grin

As always, your work is stunning and perfect.  You are an inspiration to me!!

I love the shape of that hobo bag, is it your own secret design or is there a tute here somewhere for something along those lines?

Those German patterns make me think of the clothes my Oma used to send over for me when I was a little girl.  The Christmas package from Europe that we never got until mid-January, and all the cookies in it were stale by then.  But still yummy.  Mmm memories...  Smiley

I love both of those bags. What I think is the coolest is that you have a definte sense of style. I mean, we can always count on you for owls, but there's also a certain feel that I've seen in all the stuff you make. I'm impressed that you're able to keep up a consistent style and quality about your crafts. It's really nice.

Thank you for the kind words!

Dejavugirl - the hobo bag is my owl secret design. Wink And I'm sorry to hear about your stale christmas cookies, but I'm certainly jealous of cute german clothes for little girls! hehe

bluelise -  You really know how to make a girl smile!  Grin <--- see?!
