I think your purses are beautiful.......my favorite is the last one in tutorial.  But like  RR and Bamawrly, I am having trouble with the handles.  Your help would be appreciated.   I can not read the yard stick to get correct measurement.
Happy Crafting.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank Carrot Top for tutorial...mine came out larger
.  Not as nice as yours.

Thanks.

I've taken a break from making purses for a while to make clothes but i will do a tut for the donna bag when i get back into a purse groove again.  PS - i have looked for my hobo pattern and i can't find it.  I's measure one of my purses, but i sold them all.  Sorry, i'll try and look for it later for measurements

Yay!!! I found the pattern!!! I added the measurements if the bag on the first post of this thread.  I also have a copy of it as a PDF and i can't figure out how to post it.  Anyone who wants it just PM me and i'll email it to them and they can open it in adobe.  If someone wants to let me know how to post a PDF that would be great too.

Thanks for the tutorial! I'm in the middle of making one, and my sewing machine pooped out.  But I will post a pic when I finish it.  Thanks again!  Cheesy

Your hobo bag tutorial was brilliant.
I've been busily sewing all morning and my bag is finally finished.
I need to  go out and look for some trimming, for that final touch.

Here's the bag I made for the Black Cat Swap.

Thank you so much for the tutorial, this bag turned out better than any I've done before! The sides look more like the others posted before mine, but I couldn't get it to stand up that way because I think I used thinner interfacing or something. And as a side note, each of these fabrics was $1 per yard on clearance, so with the felt cat and the button, I made it for under $3!!
