I made this skirt for my little girl, she absolutley loves it!  I had enough for two with plans to make matching skirts for both my girls, but they were too short for the 6yo.

I used cotton for the top and netting for the bottom.  It is so cute I just wish it fit me!!!!  (Just imagine how I would explain to my boss how wearing a skirt like this fits into the dress code at work!)

Thanks for looking!

The skirt is super cute.  My little girl is due in April and I can't wait to start sewing cute clothes for her like that.

I sew need to make my little Olivia something like this!  She is only 18 months old, but is such a girly-girl. Whenever she gets her hands on my fabric she puts it on her head and runs with it and draps stuff all over her. Future fashion model maybe?  Anyhoo, that is lovely!! Great job and thanks for more inspiration!

I love poofy little skirts! I make similar ones for my daughter (and sometimes myself!). I think Craftster needs a kids section.

Under the suggest new boards/features area there are two threads about this.  Everyone should go and say something!  I would love a kids thread!

And thanks!

I love it!  I have some extra tulle from the tutu project- I'm gonna have to try to make one.  Love the colors you chose.

It doesn't feel like exercise when you're wearing chiffon.
