Hi everyone.  I'm a craftster and also a graduate student studying professional writing at the University of Southern California.  I'm writing an article about the new crafting revolution and I would LOVE to hear your opinions.  I'm wondering what makes craftsters of this new generation different from our parents' generation?  When people discover that you knit/sew/craft are they shocked?  Do you think there's a new wave of "hard-core" craftsters?

Do you have any good stories that demonstrate how you break the mold of traditional crafting?

Thanks for sharing with me, and I'll make sure to keep everyone who posts updated on the state of the article.

Craft on!
