I dig the Delpine sweater. I think its the layers, or maybe the cables. Hmm...

Sigh  I love the ruffles and ridges and the twister scarf is really fun.  I may have to go get a ball of Thick & Quick.

Yeah I feel the same way. I wish I could get a read on how it would fit on a person. Is it just me or is it odd that the Delpine is not on a model?

I too think it's weird it's not being modeled.  That is a red flag to me.  I'd be interested in making it maybe but not till I see it modeled.

That thought did cross my mind. I am a little wary of knits that aren't modeled. But even when they do have it modeled I'm a little skeptical sometimes (posing, pinning, etc.)

I think I'd be willing to risk it, though.

yes! me too! I am most excited about the delphine sweater, but 90% of why I decide to make things is based on a model-shot! Thanks for letting us know when they will be posted. I look forward to seeing them (and I am sure it is v. flattering, but it is nice to see on a person!)

i like the Eve sweater. i'm not sure i'm crazy about all the texture and patterns in the tummy region, but i might make it with the dropped stitches on the sleeves and maybe one or two around the tummy and/or bottom, but with the rest of the body in plain stockinette.

any ideas on how this would look?

I would like to add my complete and utter agreement with the above statement. It actaully took me a second to see the scarf.  Grin

Love them all.  I've gots some yarn for Twister that is perfect - I'm almost tempted to walk home at lunch to grab it so I can work on it during my train journey tonight!

Other than that, I too would like to see Delphine on a parson, so thanks for offering to share those pics.

I like the G8 hats - they are cute!  Ruffles and ridges looks pretty too.

Delphine is lovely! I think I'd like it just as a short-sleeved sweater. I'm trying to decide if I like the look of the Eve sweater...though I LOVE the idea of having dropped stitch sleeves, since I HATE sleeve knitting.
Incidentally, I find the G8 mother and daughter hat set just adorable, somehow. I just imagine me and my (as yet nonexistent, whew!) progeny putting those on and just staring at each other and giggling for hours.

Im in love with Delphine, especially after seeing the modeled pics.  But now I have a q, is the large really a 57 cm sweater?  Isnt that a 22 inch bust?

Those measurements are for across only the front - a schematic would have made that clearer, sorry. I meant, across the bust, lying flat. Not all the way around.

I really like Delphine too- it's so nice to see a fitted cable sweater.  Most cable sweaters are always so boxy... why would you spend ages on an intricately cabled sweater that is never going to flatter you anyway? That's just my personal pet peeve... so I like that Delphine has a flattering shape to it! And the sleeves are very cool, a neat twist.

I'm going to try the Happy Socks, they're really cute and I've been wanting to try out a sock pattern that is toe up.

And since I'm STILL sitting here with the Lorna's Laces I bought about 8 months ago in a colorway called "Happy Valley", it just seems right to use it on a pattern called Happy Socks. (never mind gauge, I base all my knitting decisions on the names of the colors)  Cheesy
