ok heres the basic idea,
--->craft someone accessories or storage to help them craft and store the things they make. we all need more storage and we could all use crafty accessories!!
-->ok such as
-aprons
-tool belts
-pin cushions
-tool box
-decorated storage boxes
-needle case or knitting bag
-decorated cork board
-knitting journal/keeptrack journal

any other ideas would be cool!!!

what do you think?

I think this would be a cool idea. Even better... we should somehow combine it with the "seven days" idea.

hmm how would we combine them?

like 7 accessories/storage things based on the seven deadly sins?
like an apron with gluttony screened on it
or a dirty inspired pin cushion for lust
or oh man i can go on and on

this is interesting. currently i'm storing my knitting stsh in a beautiful hand woven (not by me!) basket, but the stash is taking over. and it needs a better way to travel. and well all my craft/art stuff is in the same boat.
i hope theres more interest.

If you have it after I get feedback for the swap I'm in now (my first swap) I'm in!

My craft stuff is taking over my house!!  I spend WAAAAY too much time looking for things because my stuff is just not organized. It is all in a bunch of old tote bags and Michael's bags and rubbermaid bins. So I'll leave a project out for days on end then my husband will put it (and all of the componenets) away someplace that does not make sense to me and then I can't find what I'm looking for.  I can't complain too much because he cleans up. If only I would organize my stuff, that is time I could spend crafting!!

I could REALLY use a tool box!  A place for embroidery stuff, the floss, the books, patterns, the blanks, etc.  Then there are all of my Mosaic supplies the glass, the grout, glass cutter, pliers.  I have little bottles of paint and glitter and glue and modge podge.....fabric and patterns......I won't even start into the beads! OY VEH! What a mess that is!

help

I'd be game, but I don't know how keen I am on the "seven" thingie you guys are talking about.  Admittedly, I'm not sure what you are talking about exactly   Tongue  but I do know I need some storage solutions!

ok well we thought we would mend two swaps together this one and the 7 deadly sins swap/or/7 days of the weeks swap.
**the seven deadly sins are
pride, gluttony, lust, anger, greed, sloth
heres a link to what they all mean http://deadlysins.com/sins/

--now we could make our partner something for storage or pin cushions or whatever and base it on one of the seven deadly sins. like i said earlier, you could make a apron with the word gluttony screenprinted on it and stuff like that.
--or for the seven days of the week you could make a storage box and decorate it with a theme like the monday blues.
i dont know if i explained that well enough

As much as I like day of the week stuff, I would rather swap things that fit my and my partner's aesthetic, but I'd be game for day of the week if everyone else wants it.

It was just a suggestion, but either way this swap would be neat.
