How to get a proof of shipping/DC number without going to post office?

I really don't have time to go to the post office so I'm wondering is there a way to get a proof of shipping or a DC number without going to the post office and without shippng priority mail?

I use the USPS Click N Ship, however that is Priority mail and includes the DC. Not sure if they offer anything that isn't Priority. Click N Ship also is currently only for domestic shipping as far as I know.

Umm.. actually you can use Click n Ship for international packages.

Anyway if you don't want to have to go to the post office to get a DCN all you have to do is weigh your package firgure out the cost to send (either First class or Priority), add the price of DCN, affix stamps, drop in mailbox.

However if you decide to use Priority I would use the click and ship becasue they give you free Delivery confo.

And if you use Click n Ship for International packages you have to go to the PO anyway to drop off the package. They won't let you drop it in the boxes becasue they have to stamp it. Dunno why.

lamamarco thanks for the info on using Click N Ship for International. I must have just been seeing that I couldn't use it for International without having to go to the PO anyways for a drop off. I'm not always known for reading carefully. 

For weighing I like to use my digital scale at home. If I forget I just use the scale in the shipping area at work.

I forgot to add, you only have to drop it off at the post office if it's over 16 oz.
And of course you have to put the DCN sticker on your package. Duh.
I'm a dork.

It has to have a customs label, and the PO wants to make sure it's not got anything dangerous.

I ship a lot internationally with the game store I have with the hubby.

Actually when you use Click and Ship off the website, it has the customs form already included in the print out.
