Bought this tank and thought the applique was cute, but not cute enough. Now it sparkles like crazy.

The applique was already there, it is from old navy. It was not stiff at all, actually it was floppy until I added the beads, then it became more secure. I have seen a ton of tanks out there like in the sleepwear sections that have appliques. They are usually pretty cheap too. This top was $10. I am working on jazzing up some other plain tanks too, Ill be sure to post them when they are done  Roll Eyes

what interesting placement of the applique! I saw a bunch of cool beaded and sequin appliques today at vogue fabrics, but I thought they would look really weird around the neck (where I think they were supposed to go)

Just put them anywhere, even get a few and place them in a cool pattern, I usually start from the bottom.
