Awww... don't be nervous! I think this would be a super smooth first swap, mainly because it would be really easy to find stuff to send to people. I'm seeing a dancing Vidalia Onion T-shirt, Vidalia Onion jelly (I bet you can find it somewhere), a homemade glitter portrait of a Vidalia Onion... the possibilities are endless!

Come on, people! Show some pride in your city and share the goodness with others! This is such a cool idea for a swap, millions of Craftsters should be signing up for it!
I'm in the middle of my first swap now- if it finishes in time, I'd quite like to join.
that is if anybody'd like stuff from Northern California...?

Hm, I may keep my eye on this one... there are probably a lot of people who'd like to  recieve from someone in nyc, but who knows, I could be totally wrong ;P

I am waiting for feedback on my last swap so I can join this one.. I suspect it will be sometime this week.  I will bookmark this.  Kakaiyu.. I know where you live.  I used to live around there, too (six months) and I have to say.. I love onions;-)

Well, since I don't want to commit just yet (I'm so scared I'm gonna end up flaking out and disappointing someone!), I'll start collecting some Vidalia and onion themed things. If I can get some good things collected, then I'll join. Smiley
Of course, I won't get everything. I've got to know the reciever a little bit before I get everything for them!

EDIT!!!- Oh, and I just rememberd that we will be having our Vidalia Onion Festival starting April 10, so hooray! Just in time!
ANOTHER EDIT!!!- Oh, no. I just found out that it starts the 27th.  Undecided

I know of tons of stuff I could send I'm just not sure I'll have time.  I could send Sweet Potato things because I live pretty close to Vardaman,  I live outside Tupelo so there's Elvis stuff, I'm not far from New Albany and Oxford which is where William Faulkner was born and lived respectively and Oxford is where Ole Miss is (where I also went to college).  Oh and we have lots of pottery places scattered around.  Those might be interesting.

You can send from your area - I live in Joshua but closer to Godley (has a whole 672 people) neither of which have much in stores so will be buying mostly from Fort Worth - I live just south of Fort Worth and do most of my shopping there anyways.
