Thanks to craftster (I looked back at all the tutu projects) my daughter got the tutu she's been begging me for.  I bought 3 yards of tulle and used some stretchy material from an old turtleneck to make the waist.  I thought the tulle would be more difficult to work with than it was.  My daughter couldn't be happier- in fact, she won't take it off (I made her take it off to go to bed).

Very, very cute! I would make my daughter one, if she didn't already have two XD I need to make one for myself, though.

I'd love to make a tutu, i've got tons of material but i don't think tutu's are exceptable to wear at 16.

Shocked A tutu is definatley not unacceptable wear for a 16 year old!! I've got a fluro pink one that I wear to fancy dress parties (been worn 3 times so far) with matching wings.

Cheesy Drea your daughter really seems like she's loving that dressm but where's elmo? He he

Hugs,

Caterina
