K here's a picture of my progress so far:

The back piece measures about 17" so far.  The yarn is a bit brighter/more vibrant in real life...it's Leaf in Knitpicks' Sierra.

I think I'm really going to love this sweater (if it ever gets finished).

OOOOooooooooooh I love that green.  I'll post a pic of my progress too.
I'm only 2.5 repeats into the Banana Pattern.  I hope to at least double my progress over the weekend.  I too, feel as if I'll never finish.

necia: I would've loved to knit mine in a color similar to yours, but anything even remotely close to white that I own gets dirty so quickly  Embarrassed

Wow everyones Starsky is looking great Grin

kibblesandknits: I'm still currently working on the sleeves, which at the moment is involving a large amount of cheating. I ended up getting so annoyed at myself for not being able to make the thing fit that i started using another sleeve from a magknits pattern because i know that it will fit me and that the sleeve cap is roughly the right size for the arm hole

I plan to get mine done this weekend before i go crazy

These look great!  I finished my sleeves last night.  I decided to do them first and get it over with.

I am really anxious to get started on the back this weekend....

I really want to get started on this sweater, but I am broke at the moment... as soon as I get some $$ I will cast on for this!  everyone's progress looks great so far!
For those of you using Knitpicks yarn... is it a nice yarn?  Not too scratchy??  I liked the suggestion of using Lamb's Pride Bulky, too.  At least my lack of money will give me time to ruminate over which yarn to use!  Roll Eyes

oh la la
I'm using the exact same color for a Phildar sweater I'm making.  I definitely like the color a lot more than how it's shown on the knitpicks website.  It's not quite as dark as they show it and a bit more olivey?  I don't know, but I love it.  Sierra is a nice yarn, cheap and soft. Smiley

I really really want to make this sweater, but I'm thinking I'll have to wait til summer to make it. Sad   Maybe knitpicks should make more colors in Sierra in the meantime....
