Hi Fellow Cross-Stitchers-

I just bought a new product and it says to wash the floss in warm soapy water and let it dry before actually crossstitching. I've never done this before, I am just weird or what? Can you let me know if this works and what exactly it does. Thanks! Ohh, one more thing. When I tape around the outside of the project ( to keep the thing from ratting off) I usually use masking tape, do you thinking packing tape would work? I appreciate your help. Thanks!
