I've been cooped up due to weather and an injury for some time now, and while I cannot STITCH (oh, the horrors!), I can still design, right?

I have had a love of all things medical since I was a wee little nipper, and I adapted two images that I found in an anatomy textbook from the late 1800's and adapted them as cross stitch patterns.  Hope you like them!

Comments and questions are most appreciated!

Dear Mods-- I'm sorry but I accidentally double posted.  Something to do with my net cutting in and out and me being kind of lame when it comes to patience.  Anyways. please feel free to remove either one of these posts.

Yet another piece I did using that old anatomy textbook.  I want to make a bolster pillow out of this pattern so badly it hurts!  It measures about 7" by 12".

I may start lying and telling people that the tendons shown are part of the Horunderble cluster.  It has a vaguely Latin ring to it, and it will make me sound supah smart!

Actually, my desire to create horrible designs stems from my love of all things biological (I'm a total science nerd) and my dislike of so many commercially designed patterns.  I'm not knocking anyone who does like angels and cute little animals, but they just aren't for me.

Me neither! I love that lady who crochets eyeballs and plucked chicken hats and makes shawls with patterns of brains and such. Forget her name though, she's on here somewhere and has a blog...
