I believe there are some cross stitch charts on the blog called "My Aunt's Attic"  http://myauntsattic.web-log.nl/

The blog description states:
Quote
Aunt remembers that, decades ago, it came from the inventory of a no longer existing needlework store, possibly in Hilversum, the Netherlands.

I hope that helps get you pointed in the right direction.  (Plus it's really cool to browse and all free.)

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

Here's a few more links for you...

http://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org/. It has antique books and patterns from all over the world.

I also found several books about Scandinavian Cross stitch for sale on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_sq_top?ie=UTF8&keywords=scandinavian%20embroidery%20designs&index=blended&pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0304349518&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=11A8ARDNVCCT38J84PG6

Have you used Flickr? There are several group pools that deal with Vintage designs, many with Scandinavian or Dutch Themes. Check 'Hoop Love Vintage Transfers'...they have hundreds of patterns all free to download for personal use!

Mysticflower, I've found lots of Scandinavian needlework design books at the library, so that might be a place to check. There's also a new book out called Scandinavian Needlework that has some very adorable patterns.

I also have two new free embroidery patterns at Bee's Knees Activities (although they're unrelated to anything Scandinavian... they're just to share):

I love the new patterns bees knees! I'm thinking the first one is a dandy lion? Grin I'm going to save them and hope to stitch them up after my long list of stitchery is complete!

Oh. Man. I just made a lion stuffy and I WISH I'd had that pattern for it's face. That is so lovely.

Thanks for the feedback on the patterns! The first one is disguised as a "Sunburst Lion", but you can see right through that to his most dandy of natures. I've been all about the dandelions lately. I have a dandelion fabric, a dandelion embroidery in progress, and even a dandelion puff song. I'm goin' crazy!
