Thank you for the tut Smiley

I have a question though, is there anything other than interfacing that you could use, or would it have to be that?

Just curious as I would like to make one tonight, however I don't have after interfacing right now.

Although I think I know, what exactly is interfacing and does it seal to fabric when ironed?

Interfacing... how to explain... it's kind of like fabric, but one side is iron-on-able and even though it might not feel particularly stiff when you buy it (but ask what it's meant for), when you iron it onto fabric, it makes it sturdier.  I like it for these wallets and pouch-y type things because it helps them keep their shape (since cotton fabrics can get stretched etc.  I'm not sure what else you could use, although I did make one of these with upholstery fabric and that was pretty stiff, so I didn't use the interfacing.  I also made one with low-loft batting (the thinnest kind) and that looks/feels fine as well.

Batting is the fluffy stuff that people put in quilts to give them their thick feel.  It's like stuffed animal fluffing except that it comes in sheets.  It comes in varying "lofts" which denotes the thickness (I think that's all it means anyways).  It's good for all kinds of stuff... I would come up with examples... but I can't really think of anything other than the already mentioned pouches and wallets.

Ah ok! Thanks for explaining that, I bought some of ebay that night, since we are still snowed in, and it arrived today, so I'm off to try this out! Thank you!

That one is pretty sewnikki, even with the stain Smiley

Here is my first attempt:

The pink is brighter, but the lighting here is a bit rubbish right now.
I can't believe how so very easy it was, only about 20-25minutes and you don't need much fabric. Thank you for the tut, I'm off to make another one now Smiley
