Any tips for spinning with Hemp noil. It is sooo short and though I carded it there are little "flecks" of nubby fiber. What I spun last night feels like twine. Could I be over spinning? Does it soften up after soaking and setting your twist? Huh  Any of your wisdom is greatly appreciated.

Ive never spun hemp but if its short stapled like cotton, just go slow and practice.

As far as softness, like linen hemp softens with use and with washing.  you might want to wash it and bang it around a bit to help soften the fibers.
