There was a package of fat quarters waiting for me in my mailbox this evening...and they're from Yirq!!!  She sent me a bunch of lovely cotton fabrics and she did a terrific job selecting them, based on my answers to the swap questionnaire Smiley  Okay, here's a group shot of the fat quarters:

Hmmm...did you count them?  Yep, she sent me 7 fat quarters Wink  It's impossible to pick a favourite, but I'd like to mention that I've already got plans for the butterfly fabric.  I'm making my grandmama a black microfiber tote for her bible and I'm gonna use that wonderful butterfly fabric to line it!  I think she'll love it.  Yirq, thanks for feeding my fabric addiction!

I got my fat quarters from loves2experiment today.  Got to say that I got it very quickly from all the way from the US.

Lots of dragonfly fabric that feeds that particular addiction.  And Japanese fabrics that feeds another addiction.  The other one is cute cats on the white background.  I alread have projects in mind for 2 of the dragonfly fabrics.  I love it all.

Thank you so much, loves2experiment.

Ezri_B, I hope you'll have fun with your new stash Grin  I can't figure why I've never noticed all the cool corduroy fabrics at the store!  Perhaps it's due to the fact that I always head for the quilting section and spend all my money there  Roll Eyes

Oh, loves2experiment, I adore them. I'm just trying to figure out which I'll use first.

I know what you mean about going straight to the quilting section, I've been guilty of it myself. But I have always adored corduroy, and I love making baby blankets. I always think that babies would rather feel different textures. So I usually use all different types of fabrics for my quilts. So corduroy is just a natural choice, for me. Plus I love corduroy for bags, purses, and appliques.

Thanks again so much for my lovely fabrics, yours will be out first thing tomorrow. I'll PM you the DC# when I get home tomorrow night.
Thanks again for organizing such a wonderful swap!
