I think this may be the pattern I have been looking for.  I'm familar with Lelah, and have eyed the pattern longingly thinking, "Oh how I wish I didn't have saggy pushing-40 boobs that would probably look horrid in this, even with a strapless bra".   I'm not at the point of altering patterns yet, but I will keep this in mind.

One question:  where can the Picovoli pattern be found?

Wow - I guess there really isn't a new idea out there.  I have been planning this EXACT same combination for a summer sweater for my 3 yo niece.  I would love your pattern notes as I'm also changine guage and size and your notes on converting the lelah from bottom up to top down would save me some time - I have to have it done by April 3rd for her birthday!

Your lelahvoli looks great!

Thanks,
Sara

Hooray for pattern-bashing! That is a great sweater. It takes a good eye to combine elements like that.
I want to make a shawl with fingerless gloves at the tips, but I'm afraid it'd end up on youknitwhat. hahahahahaha.

To all who wanted the Lelahvoli pattern--I got so many requests I decided just to post a tutorial now in the first post.  This way people of all sizes can make the top, as I only have my alterations for my size.  Also it's good for y'all to learn how to do the math conversions, so you can rewrite any pattern you want to work with the weight yarn you desire.
