I made this bag two days ago.
It's a Jordy style bag. What a great tutorial!  Cheesy

I love brown and dark teal, it's such a nice color combination. And the gold thread adds a nice touch. I'm in love with the flower.

So here it is...

I'm keeping this bag... just for myself! I usually end up giving away the bags I make.

OOH! Nice. I agree, the colours are a great combination, likewise the texture and I really like the over-sized scale of the flower. Well done! Smiley

Thank you veludo, BeaG, roxybadoxy, minouette and ketmga for the nice comments!

Not hard, just time-consuming.
I simply cut the fabric in a circle shape. Added interfacing on the back. Sew in the middle of a double fold bias tape so it does open up. Cut strips of it to make the petals and then sew each strip onto the circle with the sewing machine. Once all the petals are attached, sew the circle onto the outside fabric of your bag with a zigzag stitch. I also used the applique foot. Finally, zigzag stitch as many seeds as you want. It's that simple!!!  Cheesy
