 Huh
i recently received a free bamboo couch for my patio on craig's list. it is in good condition, the seat is spring, not just the hard bamboo.

the catch is, it didn't come with cushions for the seat or the back. i've looked everywhere, including online, and have found nothing that will fit this couch. it is not a love-seat, it is a 5 1/2 foot long couch (three regular square sized cushions wide).

i'm thinking i will need to make my own cushions but i've never sown outdoor-fabric before and i'm thinking it could get expensive.

does anyone have any suggestions for me on where to find fabric and a pattern?

my other option is getting rid of it and finding a love-seat, which is easy to find cushions for.
thanks in advance for your help!

Use 100% acrylic fabric --best name brand is Sunbrella.  Use fiberfill, not foam, foam will absorb water even through seams and isn't pleasant to sit on.  Fiberfill is best.  The very best is high density layered fiberfill, but expensive.  Fiberfill won't get moldy and doesn't absorb water.

Why not just buy two sets of love seat cushions?  You could use three on your couch and save the other one for another project, like a footstool.
