I enjoyed working on it so much, I've started a little knitted "metal working" experiment.

The two links alone in the front have not been through the wash, the ones in the back have been through the wash on hot.  Only once enough.  It made a small difference, but not too much.  It is a ton softer though.  I've never felted anything before.. and this probably wasn't a proper job, but I'm happy with it.
There are two different types of yarn (the two in the front are of the yarn shown - Loft classic by Zitron, the scarf out of Lamb's Pride.. I think..).  They are both wool, though.

If anyone has any suggestions for getting it to felt up nicer, please let me know!   Thank you!!

i'm loving this scarf, i've been trying to make it for ages, but my problems with DPN's and trying to get the correct yarn and guage over here in the UK has been a problem.

However i ploughed on with two links today and i'll pop up some photo's once i've done a test felt!!

 I've made it, but I went straight to making felted chain maille. I made a scarf. I'll try to grab some pics of it.  Mine felted up nicely though in one washing in hot water. Try it again - i have nice felted rings where you can't see the stitches.

i too have made this scarf and i love it!! it was easy to knit up and easy to felt.  I also love the comments I get while wearing it

those are all gorgeous, did you use the lambs pride specified in the pattern?

because we can't get that over here in the UK i've used 'rowan chunky yorkshire tweed,' it's a great effect.
