Bonjour, j'habite en Angleterre et j'etudie francais a college. J'irai en france dans deux semaines pour travailler dans une ecole. i have to write a letter to the students, but as we have broken up for easter i cant ask my french teacher... so i thought craftster was the best place to get a reliable translation, in case i've done something compleatly wrong and the small children all laugh at me Grin Embarrassed
so what i want to say is: i hope that i can teach you some english, and you can teach me some french
i've written this as: J'espere que je pourrai vous apprendre de anglais, et vous pourrez m'apprendre de francais (with relevant accents)
If you could help me i would be really increadably greatful!
Oh and on a crafty note, i was planning on making a sock monkey for them as a teaching aid!
Thankyou thankyou thankyou!

First of all, I'll say that french is my mother tongue. You're pretty close to a good translation. But "de anglais" is not correct.

You could say : "J'espère que je pourrai vous apprendre un peu d'anglais, et que vous pourrez m'apprendre un peu de français". (it adds the notion of "a little bit")

or : "J'espère que je pourrai vous apprendre l'anglais, et que vous pourrez m'apprendre le français" (it adds the notion of learning everything about the languages)

I can't find a way to express "some". Hope you'll have a good experience in that french school !
