Making yet another theme present for the boy. This time "Things that are Wicked"

Of course his biggest present will be tickets to see Wicked on Broadway.

So, right now the only thing I can think of as wicked is lingerie and alcohol. I'd really like to give him some things that his mom can actually see though.

Ideas por favor?

one idea: The book that the musical is based on: "Wicked" by Gregory McGuire. He also just published a sequel called "Son of a Witch". I haven't read that one but the first book was great. It's a lot different from the musical, though.

I read Wicked a while back & just started Son of a Witch. It's good so far.
Um ... in the book The broom, Cape, stripped stockings, Chistery her "talking" monkey were all associated to her... hence Wiked.
Um maybe make him a striped scarf (guessing he wouldn't want stockings). Or a flying Monkey Stuffy.A Grimerie (sp?) That was her "Book Of Spells" so to speak. Maybew make him an old fancy Grimmerie as a photo album, scrapbook?

I'll have to thumb through Wiked later & get some ideas.

How about making a stuffed monster with red devil horns? Smiley I've been thinking of making one myself. I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it would be cute and "wicked" and also something he could show his mother.

Cute ideas. I'll go buy the book today at B&N and I'm thinking of making him a spell book. Maybe combined scrap book. Yay!

Also, in the basket I'm putting a few "wicked" guilty pleasues: Chocolate, coffee... not sure what else.

Two more days to complete, so keep those ideas coming!

You all totally rock my world.

On the book of spells:  I made one for a Halloween party once and for the cover (I used a folder with the dealies in the middle to hold the paper...make sense?) I cut newspaper to fit the outside of the folder, painted it black, let it dry so that it crinkles, then painted the name of the book on it in fancy script.  It turned out very well.  I think it's still in my basement somewhere.

Anything related to Boston! Since we always say things are "wicked good" up here, thats the first thing that popped into my head.

I was in a Big Lots last week and found a talking Donald Rumsfeld doll.

And just to be obtuse, you could include a candle.  It has a wick, therefore, it is wicked.

Two ideas:
Temporary Tattoos-in wicked design of your choice
Red Hots candies-or some other wicked spicy/sour candy.
