I'm looking for a source of little zippers. Shorter than 6". Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Have you tried Ebay? I got 20 5" zips for 1 plus 95p postage and packaging which would equal about $3 ish.
Plus can get to chose the colours you want.

This is going to sound odd, but...

Try a doll makers catalog, and check in the doll clothing section.  I've seen teeny tiny snaps, buttons and hook and eye fittings.  I *think* I saw zippers, but I'm not 100% sure I'm remembering correctly.

I buy zippers here:

http://www.zipperstop.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/skirtndress.htm

I highly recommend them for pricing, service and super fast shipping.

They have 4", 5" and 6" zippers in Black & White only.
Maybe this will help you in your search.

if you're in the bay area, you can go to s.c.r.a.p. in san francisco (scounger's center for re-useable art parts). i went there lest weekend, they had TONS of 4" zippers for free. i picked up 100!

pinkninky - I love you.  On your rec I went to SCRAP today and I am in love!  and I got a gazillion zippers.

Yirq - I got some for you, if you want them.  here is a scan of what they look like.  they are a little bit ugly with this big gold zipper part, so no worries if you don't want them.  (I mean, hey, they're free!)

I was going to suggest the doll catalogs too as well as eBay...so I wasn't going to post since others already suggested that. However...I had to say I am very jealous of the bay area right now. SCRAP sounds like heaven. Do you happen to know if there are others? I'm going to have to do a search. Or go to the Bay area for a visit. Wink
