wow, you guys are so very nice.... ahhh, good old craftster, always good for some positive affirmation when you need it. This was a big project that took big effort, but it was definitely worth it. THANKS GUYS!!

umm, to answer your questions, Janes Feebles, and k8cre8s, as vinyl is like, a plastic-based product and acrylic is plastic-based as well, they make good together. What I do, is I mix fabric ink with acrylic, but i think you can probably just go the acrylic route. I suspect you can be a great deal more casual than you think. it doesn't hurt to just give a try to whatever you have lying around!

-Zephyr, I think for the time being I'll keep that one a secret Smiley Mind you, if someone was interested in a commission, I'm very pm-able.  Grin  I'm in love with this 'sets' thing.
-Sketchygirl, don't cry! Although happy tears are okay, I guess.
-Halo- thanks for saying that!! I haven't posted that many projects, but nonetheless, this is the first time someone has suggested that something of mine get featured... what a compliment!

You are all lovely.

jasfitz, that is SO amazingly beautiful. I especially love the screened "click-clack"s behind the pocket and the idea to make the pocket as a scooped piece on the front of the tote! Awesome!! And the way all the pieces fit together but are each unique and not *exactly* alike is genius. If I had the money, I would commission you to make me something in a heartbeat. Wink I completely agree that this should be a featured project.

I love this soooooooooooo much! It brings back happy memories of when I was little and my mum used to type the letters for the family business, using a huge cast-iron antique typewriter. We had a little poem about it:

tippy-tappy tippy-tappy ty-PING!
tippy-tappy tippy-tappy ty-PING!
tippy-tappy tippy-tappy ty-PING!

erm that's probably more than you wanted to know... Anyhoo, great bag. I hit 'this rocks' cos it does, big time.

Oh. My. God. That is one of the best things I've ever seen! I'm not prone to over exaggeration - it actually is! I clicked "This Rocks" because it does. I am slightly biased because I a) love laptop sleeves, b) love brown and blue together, c) love tweedy fabric, d) love screen printed stuff and d) love typewriters, but hey, never mind.  Grin
