So, earlier this month, I was commissioned to create a sleeve & tote set by craftster member Raindrops (english lit student), to carry her laptop in.
She liked my vespa laptop sleeve that I'd posted on here earlier, and requested something similar, only with a typewriter and "click clack" instead.

This is what i came up with.... I'm SOOO pleased!! (sorry, it's pretty image-heavy...)

The tote's scooped front is actually a pocket! I screened the fabric behind it.

They were fairly time-consuming, as I was trying a few new things, and haven't printed with photoemulsion since college...but after a few minor hardships they totally worked out!  I'll be sending these to her later this week.

I've got to be honest... It's going to be really hard too give this all up. I've never made a matching set before, and there's just something about everything fitting together perfectly... sigh! I'll miss them.... but I'm confident they'll be put to good use.

Everything looks awesome. The design and colors are great and the sewing is very professional.
Raindrops will love them as much as you do i'm sure.

They're just fantastic, so professional.  Does ordinary screening ink stick to vinyl/leather, or did you have to doe something special?
Oh, I just looked at them again, they're so hot. Especially the laptop sleeve, I like the circle detail you've screened the typewriter on.

Do you stitch? Do you bitch? Do you live in BrisVegas?? http://brisbanesnb.wordpress.com/

Sweet Georgia Brown, those are unbelievable!!

The cut away detail with text is so classy, and the blue-on-brown is totally eye catching.
As a fellow English lit student, I extend my jealousy Wink
