I made this quilted sewing kit as a gift.
It's got everthing you need for mending (I hope): pins, needles, needle threader, threads, buttons, a little pin cushion and scissors.

Thanks everyone!

Cougar, this is the basic shape I used to make it. I sewed the fabrics right sides together with a layer of thin batting to stop it being floppy. I turned it right sides out and sewed the gap closed then quilted a swirly pattern. I attached the pockets by hand then sewed up the sides and bottom corners by hand.
