Ok how does one build a lepcruahn trap with 5 year olds?

I don't know if you are actually going to catch one or someone dressed up like one, but if something small will work the old box with one end balanced on a stick attached to a string to pull would be easy to build.  You could bait it with a small "pot" of chocolate coins and "camouflage" it with rainbow streamers or paint. 
If you need to actually catch a person, it might be tougher.  I am thinking a giant shamrock (an umbrella might make a good base) with a chair beneath it.  When the leprechaun sits down, your hunters could throw a net (or blanket) over them.
