ooops! I forgot... one more question- does it alter the design in any way when you "fire" it?  I mean... does it shrink at all or melt any?  I wonder if it can withstand a lot of detail or if it "smoothes itself out"  sorry to be such a pain... this is such an unfamiliar material!   I appreciate the help!

when you fire it it does shrink a bit maybe 2% but it does not melt. if you have any bumps or anything sticking up it will stay that way until you file it down. they do not " smooth out" at all. you are not a pain bring on anymore questions.
