I made these for the girls at my work for Christmas.
Here's my first attempt at a tutorial:
Materials (I was able to get all of it at my local dollar store)
Cheap ol' stick pens (the kind w/ caps)
2 silk flower for every one pen
Green floral tape
Small Vase
Floral Marbles
Ribbon, tassle, bow or other accent to go around the vase
Step 1 - remove caps from pens & throw them away (or reuse them in another crafty way)
Step 2 - Bend flower about 3/4" down from flower base
Step 3 - Cut flower about 2" from the bend
Step 4 - Hold 2 flowers on opposite sides of the pen with one hand. With your other hand, wrap the floral tape around. I like to wrap it around a couple of times at the top, then do a diagonal decent down the pen, and finish by wrapping it around a couple of more times. As you're wrapping, make sure the flower are how your want them possistioned before you completely cover their stems.
Step 5 - Take your accent item and wrap it around the 'crook' of your vase.
Step 6 - Arrange pens into a wonderful display

*note: the size of your vase will determine exactly how many marbles you'll need & how many pens you'll need to make the bouquet look full*
