Oh, and as far as a great place to check out, the Beauty Bar.  It's this sweet little bar in old town that has a 1940s hair salon motif.  They even have a manicurist there most nights and of course drink specials.  It draws in the rockabilly crowd a bit.  I havent been in ages, so itd be nice to see the place again.

The drinks at the Beauty Bar are huge. And the one manicurist has been around forever and has fantastic stories. [I actually saw it on a tv show either on the travel channel or the food network.]

Just keep me posted.  I'm in a new job and I know busy times are comming in May and June for my department but I'm not sure if these busy times directly impact me or not and if they do whether or not taking a day or two off for crafty goodness will be a problem.

However, I do have a secret weapon....I have a TON of vacation time that I MUST use before June 30 or it converts to sick leave and I also have a personal holiday that I must use or loose before then too!!! Management does NOT like people to carry this much leave time. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA It's a beautiful thing!

So after exhaustive analysis, I vote for before June 30th, ya, that'd be good.   Wink

I'm going to read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas again and replace all drug references with some sort of crafting reference.  All fire arm references will be replaced with glueguns. Booze references will stay! Yes, that is blasphemy especially for such a devotee to the late great Hunter S. Thompson, Doctor of Journalism as I am, (I've read most of his work) but it is somehow fitting in this case in a weird and twisted way. As he was the rebel of the journalism world we are the rebels of the craft world.

SewPixie, do you think you can come up with another one of your famous logic charts?  We need to figure out a new date quick!

Oh dear...which date range are we thinking? All of May & June maybe? Hmm with polls, if non-mods can even make those, is there a way to see who voted what? Probably not without doing into the database. Tongue
