well i've been looking for some for a long time and i was wondering if anyone could direct me to a store where i can get some? if possible i'd prefer a store that i can go into and buy it instead of online...unless a website is the only place i can get it. thank you in advance!

I get it here (St. Paul, MN) at Blick Art Supplies and at Wet Paint. I've been told that some Michaels' carry it but mine doesn't.

Online: misterart.com and dickblick.com.

If none of those pan out, look in the yellow pages under art supplies and just start calling the places close to you. Even if none of them carry normally, they might be able to special order if for you?

Just out of curiousity, why do want to be able to walk in and buy it?

my parents don't trust websites anymore. they ordered something from a company and never got it so they don't want to have to go through it again... and seeing as i am a minor i have no other way of paying for it other than my parents credit card

Thanks for the help! i'll be sure to check the michael's around my town to see if i can find any!

Ah, gotcha!

I think you'd have better luck at an art supply place than you would at Michael's. Good luck on your hunt.

@ one daddio -

you should check out Northwest Graphic at 42nd and East Lake - for the price of 8oz of Speedball emulsion at Dick Blick, you can get a quart of Ulano 925 at Northwest. Big ink selection too.

@ roxybadoxy -

take a look and see if there's anywhere near you that you can get a stored-value credit card; I know that some pawn shops and check-cashing joints around my area offer them. they work similar to a prepaid phone, you add money to it and use it like a credit card, but it's only as good as the money you put in.

so you can use it online or in stores, and it's not keyed to your identity in any way, and if you've only got $10 or $20 stored on it, you're not out much if you lose it or it's stolen.
