Incidentally, why did no one tell me ribbon was so awesome?!  I've been knitting for over 15 years, and this is the greatest stuff I've ever worked with!

Okay, follow-up to original question, but I'm replying instead of editing so it'll be visible again...

Is stuff knit with ribbon yarn okay sewn up with the same yarn, or is another yarn of a similar color going to hold things together better?
