Thanks to the encouraging feedback from folks here at Craftster, I've gained the crafting confidence to invent more patterns.  Grin

Awesome pattern!   I definitly want to make one... but I have a couple of questions...

I've never used DPN's... how many of them do I use?  and how many stitches go on each needle?

To tell the truth, I knit in the round using the "Magic Loop" method described here:
http://www.az.com/~andrade/knit/mloop.html, so I always divide the sts in half.

If you want to try dpns, there a good tutorial at Knitty:

No matter which method you use, don't worry about the distribution of the sts on each needle .  It doesn't really matter since you're knitting a tube, but most people like to divide the sts evenly.

Hope this helps - I think dpns are one of those things that are very frustrating at first, but gets better over time.  I never got used to the technique myself, and I avoided knitting in the round altogether until I discovered the Magic Loop method.
