I'd be up for a round two, though I'd rather not organise till life has calmed down, so April probably for me.  Does that sound good, or does someone want to organise it?  If you're a new organiser then I can probably give you a hand!

Would like to attempt round2. There has been a good range here so far. Bestsundaydress, what an original dress, did you come up with the pattern yourself and how long did it take to sew?

Clarity -

Yes, I made the pattern up.  Ages ago though (stole the idea from a pattern book, but I was too cheap to buy the pattern so I made it up instead), but I adapted the paper panels to fit Heather using my dressmakers dummy.
It took about a weekend to finish, but I wasn't working on it all the time.  Mostly in front of movies and stuff.  But yeah, it's quite quick to do, cos it's just basic panels really, with a zip in the back.   Smiley

It sounds simple yet seems complicated as I'm very new to machine sewing; only found out recently what the different needles are for Smiley You should make that dress for every swap- I would appreciate it, I'm sure others would

My life is off-the-scale busy right now, until after April 6th (I'm organising a conference for work Sad).

After that I'll be raring to go for round 2  Cheesy

That suits me, as long as my life calms down, I'm in limbo - had another job interview on Friday, and I'm waiting to hear, so when I get the word on that I'll move down to Birmingham.

At themoment myparents aremoving house, so I'm spending every spare moment packing up at their place.

I'd be up for a round two, and organising, but it may not be early or even mid-april, as the later I get a job, the later I'll be moving.  Shall we leave it that people are interested in April, and someone can start the discussion thread when they want to organise?

With regard to this swap, I've now left all feedback and moved the main thread to the finished swap folder, so can you please (if you've not done so already) check you have positive feedback in your profile.  Ta!

Thank you all for being brilliant - you made my first swap experience a lot of fun, and seeing your crafts was great.
