ooh, I am glad you got the mittens, PurpleFluffyCow! I am pleased you like them too, I was panicking about fit and all that, I was going to try and make them with fingerless gloves inside the flap, but to be honest I am not all that good with double pointed needles, so I made up a flip top mitten patten.

Your pictures make Bloo look so happy!

SarahJane, I loved your parcel so much Cheesy It was exactly what I wanted! They matched my sandals too which is very important for when I go to Ukraine.  The girls there are far more matching than me!

I am highly impressed by the dress too... It would take me a month to even work out how to cut the pattern out for a dress.

Thanks Malinki Smiley

I too am impressed with the dress, and also think it'd take me a month to draw up the patterns, never mind cut it out and sew it!

phew! There are some talented people hanging around this joint Wink That dress is stunning. As for those mittens, well....what can i say! I want a pair!
i'll be posting pics of my stuff a bit later. Every friday morning there's this god awful noise outside my window, it goes on for about an hour and then stops as soon as it starts. It is so weird, like theres huge big fans running right outside my window. Whyyy do they make uni accom so noisey!

Wow - Bloo is wonderful - I can understand the squeal Cheesy  And to make up a pattern - malinki, you're so talented.

And the dress is gorgeous - I've been looking at the panels and all of the shape, and it's perfect, right down to the neatest zip I've ever seen

I think all of this swap has produced gorgeous stuff - I think I'm int he same place as you SarahJayne.  My week was insane, so kirsty's panta was entirely a knitting in public project - all of it apart from the seaming was done on the trains from Manchester to Birmingham and back!
