First Post! First Stencil!

Hi Everyone:
Long time lurker, first time poster. Here is my first stenciled shirt.  I'm not really a skull & cross bones kinda person but I thought this guy was so cute! (He's taken from Stencilry).  There was some bleeding.. I think maybe either the stencil wasn't stuck on well enough (I used freezer paper) or I used too much paint on my brush.  Or maybe because it was ribbed?  Anyway, constructive criticism/comments/advice all welcome please!

Looks great!  Nice work.  I can see the bleeding, and am guessing that it's caused by the ribbing, but I think the image looks terrific anyway.

But I can't take credit for designing it.  I found him on Stencilry (http://www.freewebs.com/stencilry/).  I think I found him under the 'symbols' section.  Just too great to pass up!

that looks really nice! i think the bleeding was because of the ribbing, because freezer paper usually results in pretty clean lines. is that gap on the top part of the skull (next to the eye) part of the stencil, or a bridge?

It was kind of part of the stencil.  It was a very skinny line that tapered until it disappeared.  It originally wasn't quite that big, but my exacto knife skills leave something to be desired... so I took some liberty it it.

Nope! Actually, I don't recall I single popup.  Maybe one when you click to enlarge a stencil?  I'm not even 100% sure about that!

Tinker, I think I love you! I just check out the site and while I don't stencil, there are a lot of patterns on there that have a lot of potential!
