I live in upstate NY, and the coldness just will not quit! Therefore...

Made of exactly one skein of Katia Nepal, in the largest size (22") indicated in the pattern. If anyone else makes it this way, with this yarn, you could do a little less than the 35 ribbed rows - mine's a wee bit long (like maybe 1/2", not bad). Also, though my head measures 22", I could have gotten away with doing the 21" version. I probably could have figured all this out if I had swatched ahead of time, but I am rather bad about these things Tongue

You gotta do something besides kill drifters to get erections.

I dig it. The pompom looks great and the colors are awes. and the whole thing looks super-cute on your head.

Salome - Right on! I knew I had to have these frames the moment I saw them.

debacle - Thank you! The work you have done (for feminism and crafting!), and continue to do, is so inspiring.

tristitia - Thanks!

Awwww!  I adore the huge pompom!  If I saw you walking down the street wearing that, I would have a huge grin despite the cold!  What happy colors!
