Good grief, I feel exhausted after reading that! Wink

So glad it finally made it to you, and that you like it all, and that the top fits, phew, I can relax now!

It was a pleasure making it all for you - some things I wouldn't have tried without having you as swap partner (maybe a little bit of stalking occured Wink), and it was great to do some Opeth and RATM crafting!

Like I said, no rush with your package, there's nothing worse than stress and it can ruin the fun of crafting!

George x

That stuff looks great!  I think we all understand that life doesnt' revolve around craftster.  Stuff happens, and as long as you keep in touch with the organizer and your partner, it's all good. Smiley

that is one amazing doll! is the center patch stenciled? it looks real good!

I'm such an idiot. when i was just looking through the pictures I thought the cuff just said ABBA (and I was like WTF is the band that sang "Dancing Queen"  doing in a Metal Swap!) rather than Sabbath!
bahahahaha Grin

Thanks guys!

Ha ha, the chances of me making an Abba bracelet are so remote I can't even calculate it! Wink

No, i'm not that good at stencilling - it's a print-out-iron-on-thingy! I printed out the lyrics in a really tiny font on the back too, they came out better than I imagined!

Hee, I just noticed all the packing red things in the pics look like catterpillars - or is it just me?

Your hair?! I'm not even going to ask how that happened!! Cheesy

Booties, pah! Can you not tell Dr Martins when you see them! Wink Try making them in felt...and um, yeah...actually you do get booties!

Hmm, I'll try and think about names, but I'm rubbish at things like that!

I got my stuff Saturday and havent had a chance to post til now. I loooved everything she did for me!

She got me a Godsmack journal, a little keepsake box with HIM on it <33, she made me a sparkley candle, a duct tape multi-colored wallet with a Perfect Circle on it, and some HIM earrings & charm. This was my first swap and it was awesome (I wish what I sent her was better). Anyway, here's my items:

This is all of it grouped together (the earrings  charm are at the top/left of my journal)

and this is the back of the stuff (and top of the box):

Cool stuff - the wallet looks fab!

I got my stuff today, amid the chaos of packing boxes for my new bed! Why does everything always happen at the same time? Roll Eyes

Everything is awesome, especially as it centered around my love of Peter Steele!! (Type O Negative) Oh my goodness, such lovely things! I'm recharging my camera at the mo as I got all set up to take a picture and my camera went off Angry so you'll have to make do with a description for a few minutes. Pics added!

Everything:

Firstly I pulled out some yummy Belgian chocolate, which tastes great, even so early in the morning! Roll Eyes

Then, a rockstar scarf which is perfect for me, all black and silver glittery thread. It's all warm and snuggly but with a bit of 'edge'.

Next, some candle sand, which I have to admit had me wondering a little...until I unwrapped the etched Peter glass!! How cool, now I can worship him properly! I probably shouldn't admit to this but when I saw him in concert a couple of years ago (in Manchester then the next night in London = obsessed fan allert) I managed to catch a water bottle he'd been drinking out of! Roll Eyes Probably the one occasion it wasn't red wine! So I can add that to my new shrine!

But the best thing in the whole package is my portrait of Peter Steele...swoon! I love it soooooo much, it's well painted, perfect colours and looks so like him!! It also goes perfectly with my green computer room so he's already been put onto the wall! He can look down lovingly on me while I'm working!!

and the real deal for comparison perfect likekess!

Awesome huh? I can't thank Cat (tickle-me-elmo) enough for so many thoughtful and excellent items!

Ohhh i am so glad you liked everything i was suffereing from incredible swap anxiety after all yr stuff!

Hah you sound almost as crazy as me with the bottle keeping thing!! i havent washed a shirt signed by the lead singer of a band i shamefully adore ( and thus am not going to admit to!!) but unlike some i am never gonna wear it again!!

heh and i am glad you had such a healthy breakfast  Cheesy

Whoever made that journal and purse theyare super! i espeically love the mixed colour duct tape!

My pyromaniac bloke has just nearly singed his eyebrows, he was so fascinated by the candle sand! Also, it melts black!!! Grin

He was less jubilant about my wonderful picture, but he'll get over his jealousy! I'll have to ply him with the remaining bits of chocolate! Wink

No more pics? Aw I want to see more goodies. Are we all done and getting feedback or have people yet to send?

PS I haven't left the house without my wonderful rock-star scarf yet, even when it's been warm!

I may as well go update the profiles for the 4 of you now.  Everyone sent such nice stuff.  Unknown name mentioned her digicam wasn't working, So Zephyr if you have pics could you please share them? I'd lover to see what was sent out.  My partner. charlesbronson, wasn't feeling well.  I've been talking with her and she feels better now.  Just working on some goodies to send.  There will be two more sets of goodis to see, one from me and one from her.  It's been a great swap  Yay! first time organizing and NO Flakers!  (there were only 6 participants, but still)

Feedback has been updated!

I'm in the mood for uploading piccies so I thought I'd update this with the 'angel' things I sent to giggleycraft a while ago.

Megadeth cushion from a tour T-shirt

The reverse of the cushion, red skully necklace, sticker (and issue of the Terrorizer mag escaped the picture)
