I am getting into the mod hobby myself, I also would like to know where to get a dress form...and I don't really want to go to online sources, even though it is cheaper for the actual form...it is the shipping that kills X_X...damn this rock that I live on!

Ive found some websites that show how to make your own out of plaster or duct tape. I think I may try one of those...doesnt seem too hard! lol We'll see how it turns out... just good duct tape dress form or make your own dress form

I got my dressform from Ebay a long time ago...you should check there. 

Maybe you could also try craigslist and see what you can find...
